C Global was proud to attend the 7th Annual ASA of Southwest Florida Clays Shoot Tournament, an event that perfectly blends industry connection, friendly competition, and meaningful community impact.

Held on Friday, February 6, 2026, the tournament took place at the Sarasota Gun Club in Nokomis, Florida. From the moment the day began, it was clear this was more than just a sporting event—it was a gathering of professionals committed to strengthening relationships across the construction industry.

Event Details at a Glance

The event kicked off at 9:00 AM with a continental breakfast and wrapped up at 1:00 PM, concluding with lunch and an awards ceremony. Attendees moved through a well-organized clays course designed to encourage teamwork, camaraderie, and a little healthy competition.

The tournament followed a team-based format, with:

  • Teams of four shooters

  • A course made up of 12 stations

  • Approximately 4–6 clay targets per station

  • Rotating shooting order at each station

  • Golf carts provided to each team for easy movement through the course

All ammunition and clays were provided, with mulligans available for purchase during the event. Scoring recognized the top three overall teams, along with high overall shooter and high lady shooter honors.

Hosted by Industry Leaders

The tournament was held on behalf of the American Subcontractors Association of Southwest Florida, and expertly hosted by Lee Drywall. Events like this showcase the strength of the ASA community—bringing together subcontractors, suppliers, and general contractors in an environment that fosters genuine, long-term relationships.

With more than 150 subcontractors, suppliers, and GCs in attendance, it was a powerful reminder of the value of showing up, shaking hands, and building trust face-to-face.

Giving Back to the Community

One of the most meaningful aspects of the day was knowing the event supported a cause that truly makes a difference. A portion of the proceeds from the tournament will be donated to Blessings in a Backpack SWFL, an organization dedicated to helping food-insecure elementary school children by providing meals they can take home over the weekend.

This commitment to giving back aligns closely with C Global’s values—supporting not only our industry, but the communities where we live and work.

Why Events Like This Matter

At C Global, we believe craftsmanship and integrity extend beyond the jobsite. Events like the ASA Clays Shoot provide an opportunity to strengthen partnerships, support important causes, and engage with peers in a setting that encourages authentic connection.

We’re grateful to the American Subcontractors Association of Southwest Florida, Lee Drywall, and everyone involved for hosting a well-run and impactful event. We look forward to continued collaboration and future opportunities to support ASA and its mission.
