Precision at Every Step: Building an Elevated Stainless Steel Pool

Some projects leave very little room for error.

When you’re building a 50-foot-wide by 55-foot-long elevated pool featuring a stainless steel vessel, infinity edge, swim lanes, sun shelves, barstools, a bar, and an expansive elevated view, excellence isn’t something you check at the end of the project. It has to be present in every step along the way.

At C Global, that attention to detail begins before materials even leave the delivery truck.

Inspection Starts Before Unloading

The stainless steel pool system for this project was manufactured by Bradford Products and delivered to the site in sections. Before a section of the stainless steel vessel ever left the cargo truck, our team photographed and carefully inspected it for potential damage.

Why go to that level of detail?

Because on a project of this caliber, every component matters. Documenting its condition before unloading gives our team an opportunity to identify any potential concerns before the piece is moved, lifted or installed.

It’s a seemingly small step, but it’s representative of something much bigger: our commitment to protecting the integrity of the project from the moment materials arrive on site.

Why Stainless Steel?

Concrete is an incredibly strong building material, but it has two inherent characteristics: it continues to harden, and it can crack.

With an elevated pool, even a small crack can become a much larger concern when thousands of gallons of water are being held above the structure.

This project combines a concrete structure with a stainless steel-lined pool system from Bradford Products, creating a durable solution designed specifically for a sophisticated elevated installation.

Once complete, the pool will be finished in book-matched Neolith porcelain tile, bringing together engineering, durability and architectural design.

Getting It Into Place Is a Project of Its Own

Of course, inspecting a massive stainless steel pool section is only the beginning.

It still has to get from the truck to its final destination.

That means careful coordination between the construction team, crane operator and everyone involved in guiding the section safely into position.

We captured video of one of these stainless steel pool sections being craned into its new home. Watch the video to see just how much coordination goes into a moment like this.

It’s an incredible perspective on a part of construction most people never get to see.

Built for the View—and the Experience

When complete, this pool will be much more than a place to swim.

At approximately 50 feet wide by 55 feet long, the design incorporates swim lanes, sun shelves, an integrated bar with in-pool barstools, and an infinity edge positioned to take advantage of the elevated view.

Every one of those elements adds another layer of planning, coordination and craftsmanship.

Projects like this don’t come together because of one big moment. They come together through hundreds of carefully considered decisions—from inspecting a stainless steel vessel before it ever leaves the truck to precisely positioning it by crane.

At C Global, that’s what our commitment to excellence looks like: attention to the details people may never see, because those details ultimately shape the finished project they will.
